By default, Magic Backup will backup all of the contents of your Desktop, My Documents folder, My Pictures folder, My Music folder, My Videos folder, and important Application Data from installed applications.  For most users, these default settings will work just fine.

It's easy to select additional files or folders for backup if you need to.  Magic Backup adds a "context menu" pick to Windows Explorer and your Desktop that allows you to right-click on an item and select or remove it from backup.
